Equipment Room: A Unique Cocktail Bar Experience in Austin, TX

We came for the drinks and stayed for the vibes! This was truly one of the best bar experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment we walked in, the front door staff, bartenders, and DJ made us feel like welcomed guests. The music selection is expertly curated, introducing guests to both local and mainstream artists. I even added a few new ones to my Spotify library! The handwritten note acknowledging my partner and me on our two-year anniversary was incredibly thoughtful. We truly appreciate you all for making our evening special!

Hidden Gem The vibes here are always on point. I’ve never have had a bad time and always hear something new. Honor and Cody are the best servers too. We tried the chicken karrage, tuna ceviche, and lobster rolls and they were excellent. I don’t drink so I can comment on their selection but everything looked good. Pro Tip: Make reservations at least a week in advance a request for headphones. Trust me. This place is slowly becoming popular. Great place for a date if you want to impress your date too. 10/10 Headphones

Without a doubt my favorite cocktail spot in Austin! The experience is absolutely incomparable. The staff members are friendly, accommodating, and have a certain cool air about them. The thoughtfully designed interior and stunning audio setup make the atmosphere very intimate and exciting. My guests and I all enjoyed our drinks—I recommend the carnitas wontons as well! Will definitely be coming back. I advise everyone to book well in advance, as reservations fill up fast!

This is honestly one of the coolest places I’ve ever been to. I loved the whole vibe. It’s a very immersive experience I barely took any photos because they really encourage you to be present, listen to the music and just enjoy the moment and honestly, I loved that. The music sounds amazing but you can still talk comfortably. We ordered a few bites to share: the guacamole and the little lobster sandwiches both were really good and we ordered a few drinks that were also good. In general it’s a pricey, but you’re definitely paying for the experience. You can even go up to the bar and ask what they’re playing and they will tell you the story behind it. They use vinyls and they even hand you headphones so you can listen closely. It’s truly incredible. Service was also super cool and matched the vibe perfectly. Loved the whole experience and would totally go back

With so many bar options in Austin, it can be overwhelming to choose but I’m glad a friend recommended this spot. Reservations are definitely a must. I took another friend here to celebrate her birthday and we ordered a few drinks to start the night. The staff surprised us with a complimentary drink which we enjoyed. Between the stylish decor, friendly service, and chill atmosphere, I’d absolutely recommend this place to friends and family.

One of the coolest bars I've ever been to. My wife and I enjoyed a great date night here. Excellent cocktail selection. We got the soshitos (loved) and cheese board. Another reviewer complained about headphones...we requested one and shared them back and forth, and that more than sufficient. Ambiance and aesthetic were incredible. Great for small groups, quiet conversation, and eclectic music with an incredible listening experience.

Came in for my birthday last night and had an incredible time! We tried the Green Earrings, Brown Sugar, and Vitamin C cocktails from Side B and they were all unique and beautifully curated. They played Beastie Boys, Sza, the Cranberries, among several other artists and genres. The sequence flowed well together. Will be back!

The drink menu is thoughtfully curated (not overwhelming at all), and every cocktail we tried was spot-on.
